As someone who battles with mental health, this book couldn't have come to me at a better time. A friend suggested it to me and I was quick to grab a copy and start reading it. The author Kagan pulled me into his world of personal experiences with mental health. A rollercoaster ride of emotions, most of which I can relate to. This book helped inspire me to put mental health first above everything and work on getting back on my medication to help with my anxiety. I was closed minded and not trusting of the mental health system and this stemmed my decision to abandon medication in the first place. I now know what steps need to be taken to bring myself back onto a healthy path!
